My name is Lachlan Harrigan. I’m 20 years old and from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains, NSW. I grew up on a mountain bike and quickly fell in love with riding. I was a triathlete and pursued triathlon for 5 years before making the change to purely cycling. I simply love riding my bike, whether it’s solo miles in the mountains, racing around a crit-track or to the cafe with mates.
In the next 3-5 years I want to be racing overseas at continental or pro-tour level. I love stage racing so this is a big focus for me in the coming years. Making a difference and having a positive impact on younger cyclist is important and I want to help and give back to the community where possible. Having the ability to give back is one of the most beautiful parts of sport.
