BIOGRAPHY

My name is Lachlan Harrigan. I’m 20 years old and from Jindabyne in the Snowy Mountains. I grew up on a mountain bike and quickly fell in love with riding. I was doing triathlons for 5 years before making a change to pure cycling and road racing. I simply love riding my bike, whether it’s solo miles in the mountains, NRS tours, a fast crit or casual café ride with good mates. Off the bike I am doing an apprenticeship as an electrician and balancing life around cycling.

MY AMBITIONS

In the next 3-5 years I want to be racing overseas at continental or pro-tour level. I love stage racing so this is a big focus for me in the coming years. Making a difference and having a positive impact on younger cyclist is important and I want to help and give back to the community where possible. Having the ability to give back is one of the most beautiful parts of sport.
